It’s been an incredible couple of months for the team at Technology Triumphs – with another invitation to receive an award this week.
Pip attended the HSBC/FSB Growth Awards for the South East region – where she was invited to an intimate setting at South Lodge in Crawley. Once again, Pip found herself suffering with a little shock at being surrounded by incredibly successful and international business men and women. She was able to hold her nerve however, and collected a trophy on behalf of the team and the Home Ed Community – as a Runner up for Inclusivity and Diversity. With 2300 nominations country wide for these awards, across just 8 categories, this is another fantastic achievement and one that the team are particularly proud of.
Having been working since 2019 towards making “Creative qualifications accessible to all” – recognition at as prestigious event as this really hits home.
Once again, Pip used the platform and opportunity to educate others on the value of home education – perhaps unsurprisingly, many of the entrepreneurs in attendance were very positive about the learning opportunities it could present to young people. Pip even made a connection with a BusinessWoman/Parent who is now seriously considering the switch from mainstream schooling to home education…
Pip ended the night saying goodbye to the presenter and representative of HSBC who stated “What you are doing is really important”. We think so too!
